 My
life is nothing but a roller coaster of high hopes and great deceptions. It
all started when our mother died when Michael and I were just kids. Since
our father abandoned us a while before our mother passed away, we had
nothing left but each other. I noticed that Michael was quite a brain. I
thought he would deserve a better life than that. This is why I decided to
sacrifice myself. I borrowed enough money for him to go to college and
complete is education. This considerable amount of money gave him hopes and
brought me deceptions.
Man, I had to pay these
people back! Shooting a guy in an underground parking was not my perception
of a new life. But I had to do what I had to do. The thing is that I never
to got to the point of putting an end to this bastard’s life. I was framed
way before it. They put me in jail and I was condemned to death sentence.
This was until Michael shows off again with high hopes.
He delivered what he
promised; he broke out of Fox River with other prisoners. I was part of this
group, the Fox River Eight. However, I lost my one and only love in the
process. Veronica got killed by the same people who framed me; “The
Company”. The worst part is that it’s all because of my father. He used to
work for them and this is why he had to leave us behind. I’m not even sure
if I’m convinced by this story but this is the only one that remains. Since
Aldo, my father, passed away in Michael’s arm not so long ago, I prefer to
think that, somehow, somewhere, he thought of us and loved us.
I would have never thought I
would hold my son in my arms again. I still miss him so much. Like my
brother, I am filled by regrets, but not the same ones. I mostly regret the
time I didn’t spend with my son, LG. I should have given him a better life.
At the very least, he is safe now. He started a new life under another name.
I’m a bit pissed off about the fact that he didn’t want to come back with us
in Panama but I’m starting to understand. Maybe it is better off this way…
for now.
Now it is my turn to bring
back hope in the family. Michael is stuck in the prison, Sona and it is all
because of me. I’ll solve things my way and we will finally get off for a
new life. I am promise you, Michael, I won’t leave you behind. But first, I
have to find Sara.
